Georgina Ronaldo, wife of superstar footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, posted a story in support of Gaza on Wednesday and removed it after receiving harsh reactions. Ronaldo has more than 52 million followers on Instagram.
The story shows a little girl with a doll sitting in the rubble of Gaza after IDF bombings in the area. Ronaldo added a bandaged heart emoji and a sad face to her story.

Immediately after the story was posted, the reality TV star and soccer star's wife received thousands of hateful messages from Israelis and supporters of Israel angry at her one-sided coverage of the Iron Sword War, and as a result decided to remove the post.
A short time later, Ronaldo uploaded a new post, showing both sides: a picture of the girl in Gaza and above it a picture of the mother fleeing her home with her baby daughter.

This isn't the first time the star has posted hateful messages – just six months ago she posted photos of herself in a bare red dress, which was not well received by her Saudi followers, who bombarded her Instagram to protest the immodesty of the photos. However, she chose to keep them on social media.
This time, she seems to have realized that her choice was wrong - and chose, as mentioned, to remove the post.
