As a state, we violated our basic obligation to our citizens living in the envelope and its environs, we did not provide warning, security, protection or security, and we abandoned them for many hours to Hamas human animals. A time for soul-searching and a time for war.
We need to regain confidence and faith that we will meet the difficult challenges ahead. The most important step is national unity, immediately, without more hesitation and delay. A necessary, justified, uncompromising war, lasting as long as necessary without "blinking" and hesitation even in the difficult days and hours of every war, especially against an enemy that will not spare and will not accept responsibility for its citizens.
Let them feel our power
The war is neither a "round" nor an "operation" – it is long, difficult, exhausting, a protracted war that requires clear definitions of the required results. This is the role of the political echelon vis-à-vis the IDF and the Israeli public. Not slogans or "slugs" of laundering words like "collapse" and "fatal injury," and especially so that we don't start a "war" and end with an "operation that achieved its goals" after only a few weeks.
The Hamas regime with all its branches must cease to exist. All his military commanders, at various ranks – from Mohammed Deif to Sinwar to the commanders of the "brigades" and "battalions" and special forces – are sentenced to death. Military capabilities, tunneling, tools and military infrastructure - all need to be destroyed to the ground.

The political, organizational, and religious leadership of Hamas should be included in the long list of targets for thwarting and harming, this time without barriers related to "non-involved civilians," as was the case in the past.
Crushing and damaging operations, including to hitherto "off-limits" buildings and institutions, must continue. The effect of Israeli rage should be felt in a substantial and different way than it has been with the residents of the Gaza Strip until now. In the end, we will also need entry and friction within the field – there is no realistic possibility of achieving achievements without focused stay on the ground.
To create a different reality
Hamas is waiting for our forces to enter the Gaza Strip. It has many advantages within this complex terrain, on the ground and especially in the subterranean – tunneling, mysteries and many other capabilities. A massive entry of forces is his "desire" - the tricks he has employed in the past will be crueler and more painful. This friction is liable to exact a heavy price from our forces, and therefore these entries must be for clear purposes, surprise and deception and for as short a time as possible.
The Gaza Strip in its current form is required to "delet," erasure. The IDF and the defense establishment will do so. At the same time, we need to start thinking about "restarting" – how to create a different reality that will cause another entity to rule the Strip. Of course it must not be Israel.
