Only on Friday, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin landed in Israel and held a tripartite meeting at the Kirya with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant. In a joint statement by Gallant and Austin, the latter said that "Israel will receive additional ammunition and aircraft today."
