Two BBC Arabic journalists from East Jerusalem were detained by police in Tel Aviv for examination after they appeared suspicious. At the end of the examination, they were released.

The two, who were on their way to a hotel in Tel Aviv, were asked to be stopped by police. They said they were taken out of the vehicle at gunpoint and showed the officers their press card. The officers searched their cars and bodies, and according to one of them, one of them was thrown to the ground after he tried to film the incident. At the end of the search, the two were released.
