At the height of the war, Chef Assaf Granit enlisted in the reserves and returned to the School of Military Medicine (Bahad).
Today (Saturday), Granit gave life-saving training to fighters in the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade and spoke with the soldiers, thanking them for their courage and complimenting them on their professionalism and seriousness in the exercise. Upon his enlistment to combat, he began a professional refresher and took part in training the medical forces and fighters to save lives.

"You are playing a very significant role and your work affects the entire army, I personally want to thank each of you for all your effort," Granit told the training and command staff at Bahad 10.
During his military service, Assaf Granit was trained at Bahad 10 as a medic and served as a medic instructor in the basic training program.
