The start of the 2024-2024 academic year will be postponed in light of the state of war and the high percentage of reserve recruits among students, students and faculty, university leaders announced Tuesday morning. In addition, the possibility is taken into account that, if necessary, the school year will spill over into the summer period.
At this stage, the semester will begin at all research universities with the beginning of the process of releasing reserve recruits, but not before December 3, 2023. Before the start of the semester, two weeks of advance notice will be given to the return to routine and the academic track, at the end of which studies will begin.

"With the clear aim of not harming the student community, which includes reservists and their spouses, along with residents of conflict zones who were evacuated from their homes, families whose loved ones were murdered, kidnapped or injured, the Committee of Research University Heads announces the postponement of the start of the 2024-2024 academic year."
