Anti-Semitism is worldwide and is making waves in various countries, including, of course, Russia. After Vladimir Putin's harsh remarks against Israel, and ten days to mark the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht, today came a painful reminder of the actions taken with the arson of a Jewish center under construction in the Russian republic of Dagestan.
According to media reports and documentation on social media, the Benlchik Center was set on fire and its walls read "Death to the Jews." In addition, residents stormed a hotel where they claimed Jews were staying and demanded that they be expelled. Residents offering apartments for rent wrote in ads, "We don't rent to Jews." Dagestan is a province teeming with Muslims, and Putin's fuel is quickly ignited. Jews have recently been forbidden to enter various places.

Dagestan is not the only Russian Federation where anti-Semitism has reared its head in recent days. In Karachay-Circassia, a procession was held in which residents demanded that all Jews be expelled from the republic. Undoubtedly, the future there looks promising.
