Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan at the White House on Wednesday.
The hour-long meeting was also attended by Brett McGurk, who is in charge of the Middle East. The conversation focused on the war with Hamas and regional issues.
Bennett thanked Sullivan for President Biden's support and backing for the State of Israel during its difficult time. He stressed the need to give Israel the conditions and time to complete the work of eliminating Hamas and releasing the hostages.
At the end of the meeting, Bennett said: "The political and military campaigns are intertwined. Our mission is to provide IDF commanders with the time and conditions required to defeat Hamas and bring the abductees home."
Today and tomorrow, Bennett will hold a series of meetings with members of Congress and senators aimed at giving Israel the necessary time.
