After months of waiting, Justice Minister Yariv Levin announced Wednesday morning that the Judicial Selection Committee will convene on November 16, next Thursday.

However, according to the agenda, the appointment of judges itself is not expected anytime soon. According to the published announcement, the subcommittees will be elected, and the frequency of their meetings will be determined. In addition, rules for the committee's work arrangements will be established.
