The full composition of the political-security cabinet began. Another issue that the ministers will discuss this evening is the demand of the defense establishment to transfer all tax payments to the Palestinian Authority, including at the expense of Gaza, contrary to the previous cabinet decision. Yesterday, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said in response to reports about the transfer of funds to the Palestinian Authority that "not a shekel will be transferred to Gaza" and that "transferring these funds, contrary to my decision, is a lax policy that contradicts the position of the absolute majority of government members."
