Yemen's Houthi rebels forced a cargo ship bound for Israel to retreat, according to a report published Sunday evening in the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar. According to the report, the constraint came after the Houthis sent warning messages to the ship, which was sailing in the Red Sea.
The report comes after the Washington Post reported this evening that the United States is working to expand the multinational task force in the Red Sea to defend against the Houthi threat in Yemen and to secure commercial ships en route to Israel.
