Lebanon reported on Monday morning an escalation in Israeli attacks over the past 24 hours.
At the same time, the newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is close to Hezbollah, learned that UNIFIL officials sent official warnings from Israel to Hezbollah early last week stating that Israel would treat anything that moves along the Lebanese border, at a depth of 3 kilometers – whether civilian or military – as a legitimate target for its forces.

According to the report, Hezbollah returned its threat that if Israel implemented this threat, it would treat anything moving within 3 kilometers of the border as a legitimate target, whether civilian or military.
Moreover, delegations of Arab countries reportedly conveyed messages to senior Lebanese officials, warning of the destruction of Beirut, and demanding the implementation of Resolution 1701 and Hezbollah's withdrawal from the southern Litani River area.
Subsequently, the newspaper's commentator wrote that it can be assumed that, as in the exchange of threats, Hezbollah's response to the demand to withdraw south of the Litani River will be a counter-demand from the IDF to withdraw to southern Haifa.
