Samer Fouad al-Talalqa, 22, from Hura who was abducted to Gaza on October 7, was accidentally killed Friday morning by the IDF alongside kidnapped Yotam Haim and another abductee, whose family asked not to be named, after they were mistakenly identified as terrorists after fleeing or being abandoned on the ground by their abductors, according to a report released Friday.
In recent weeks, al-Talalqah's family participated in an Israeliz propaganda delegation to Washington. There, his father Fouad called for international pressure on Hamas to bring home the hostages safely. He said: "My son was violently kidnapped to Gaza, and we don't know what happened to him. He is a young man who was kidnapped by a terrorist organization that does not distinguish between blood and blood. They must not forget my son and they must not forget those who remain in Gaza."

The family said Samer began building a house next door to his parents with the intention of getting married the following summer. Like many young people his age, he loved motorcycles and was a nice and honest guy.
