Samer Fouad al-Talalqa, 22, from Hura who was abducted to Gaza on October 7, was accidentally killed Friday morning by the IDF alongside kidnapped Yotam Haim and another abductee, whose family asked not to be named, after they were mistakenly identified as terrorists after fleeing or being abandoned on the ground by their abductors, according to a report released Friday.

In recent weeks, al-Talalqah's family participated in an Israeliz propaganda delegation to Washington. There, his father Fouad called for international pressure on Hamas to bring home the hostages safely. He said: "My son was violently kidnapped to Gaza, and we don't know what happened to him.
