On Sunday evening, the IDF Spokesperson's Office revealed for the first time photos of the scene of the disaster in Sejaiya, where the three abductees Yotam Haim, Alon Shamriz and Samer al-Talalqa were accidentally shot dead by the IDF.

The IDF said that following the tragic incident in which three Israeli abductees were accidentally shot by an IDF force, a search was carried out in a building near the scene of the incident, with signs reading calls for help, apparently using scraps of food.

Based on the investigation of the incident on the ground, it appears that the three abductees were in the building where the signs were located, at least some of the time. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. The IDF has updated the families on the additional findings found so far, and will continue to do so.

The IDF said: "This evening we published photos of a building where the three abductees were staying, we still do not know how long they stayed in the building and we are examining another building that may have been there as well. We are examining another building where the abductees may have been. Our hearts are with the families at this unbearable time."
