According to reports in the United States, the tight security surrounding President Biden was breached overnight after a car collided with part of the presidential convoy parked in Wilmington, Delaware.
The vehicle apparently entered a street that was closed while Biden was attending an event related to his election campaign. Secret Service agents drew their weapons on the driver. The causes of the accident have not yet been clarified.

According to the description, the president and first lady made their way to their vehicle with the intention of leaving the headquarters in downtown Wilmington just after 20 p.m. local time. The first lady wished "Happy holiday" to journalists waiting nearby, but just as the president was leaving the building, the car hit one of the SUVs in the convoy.
According to testimonies, a loud thud was heard and the president looked shaken.
