Uriel Cohen, 33, from Zur Hadassah, commander of a tiger in the administrative assistance unit of the Givati Brigade, fell in battle in southern Gaza, according to a report released Wednesday. Uriel was survived by his wife and two daughters. His funeral will take place on Mount Herzl. His family wishes to come and pay their last respects.

The Tzur Hadassah Local Council eulogized him: "It is with great sorrow that the community of Tzur Hadassah bows its head and mourns the loss of the late Uriel Cohen, a resident of the community, husband to Chana and father to Shir and Lia, who fell tonight in battle in the Gaza Strip.
