The IDF confirmed to the publication on Wednesday morning that Capt. (res.) Lior Sivan, 32, from Beit Shemesh, a combat officer in the 363rd Battalion, Harel Brigade (10), fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

Orly Chas, Liav's mother, the widow of Capt. (res.) Lior Sivan, is a veteran of the psychological service in the Beit Shemesh municipality.
