Terrible tragedy just a few days before Christmas. A young man in his twenties suspected of killing his father was taken into custody on Thursday night in Saint-Cyr-la-Roche in Corrèze, Le Figaro learned from the gendarmerie, confirming information from La Montagne.
On Thursday evening, the father of the family, Antonio C., returned to his home in a place called Cluzel and threatened to attack his wife and their children with a firearm, according to the first elements of the investigation. In an attempt to prevent the worst, Antonio C.'s eldest son grabbed a hammer and hit him repeatedly. He then rushed out of the house with his mother, not knowing the victim's condition, and called the emergency services.
The gendarmes, called for "domestic violence", discovered the lifeless body of Antonio C., a mason nicknamed "Tonio" in this small village of 500 inhabitants. Her son was taken to the police station and taken into custody to explain the circumstances of the tragedy.
