The family members of Sergeant Major (res.) Shai Termin, who fell last Friday during battles in Khan Yunis, were informed that their son had fallen as a result of two-sided fire from our forces. The father, Avi Termin, posted a video of himself standing next to an Israeli flag on Tuesday and conveyed a message to the soldiers involved in the incident that he and his family back them and demand to meet with them.

During the video, Avi Termin, Shai's late father, says: "We were informed that my son fell due to the fire of our forces. I want to say that I have no anger towards you. I want and demand that you come to our home when you can afford it. Shai's wife, two brothers and I want to hug you and strengthen you. We want to tell you, 'Well done.'" He added: "Take care of yourselves, continue to do well, because our strength is in our unity. I ask: Come, I'm waiting for you.

Shai, a 6632-year-old soldier in Battalion 26 from Rosh Pina, fell last Friday. He was the eldest of three siblings and intended to study social work before the reserves. Among other things, he was a beloved production assistant in the production of the successful series "Main Box Office" of Kan 11. His mother, Shlomit, said of him at his funeral: "He said he was strong and that everyone was in good spirits. Promised he would come back."
