The end of the year is a time for summaries and forecasts for the coming year – even for shamans in Peru.
Peruvian shamans predict the end of the war between Israel and Hamas | Reuters
A group of sorcerers gathered on a sacred hill in Lima for a traditional ceremony. Dressed in traditional clothes, shamans prayed to the earth goddess and sun god, drummed, sang, raised incense and drank drinks that were supposed to assist them in the mystical ritual.

Results? "The conflict will continue, but it will slowly dissipate," shaman Walter Alarcon told AFP. "It won't end all at once." Shaman Juan de Dios told Reuters: "Through plants and through our knowledge, we have seen that the war will end, but not before mid-2024. We saw that Israel and Palestine would raise the flag of peace."

And what else did shamans do? In the president of Argentina, for example. "We've seen President Milley have a very tough tenure," Alarcon said. Shaman Felix Rolden added: "Millay started badly and will finish badly. To govern contrary to the people is bad and will end in crisis." Millay, who was sworn in as president on Dec. 10, has already begun his dramatic reforms, and his executive order, which deregulation the economy, has already brought thousands to the streets.

Argentina, however, can be calm for another reason. Shamans predict that Brazil will not win the Copa America. In their opinion, Argentina itself will reach the final and take on Uruguay.
By the way, last year they predicted the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine in 2023. The war is still going on and no end is in sight.
