A number of demonstrators arrived in Caesarea on Saturday morning to demonstrate in front of the home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. One of the demonstrators, Brigadier General (res.) Amir Haskel, one of the leaders of the protest against Netanyahu, used a megaphone.
Police officers who were nearby came to the demonstrators and demanded the megaphone, but he refused to hand it over. They asked him to identify himself to them, but he refused either. As a result, he was arrested and taken for interrogation at the Hadera police station.
Another demonstrator was also arrested. After a brief interrogation at the station, they were released. Three other protesters were summoned for questioning at the station on Sunday. The demonstrators intend to arrive in the evening, as they do every Saturday night, to demonstrate near the prime minister's home in Caesarea and call for his ouster.
