Akiva was a soldier in the engineering battalion in which I served until recently, Battalion 8173, and he fell last night in battle in the central Gaza Strip. Akiva is the 27th person killed from the city since October 7, when 27 of our best sons and daughters were murdered and fell. May their memory be blessed."
