The names of five fallen IDF soldiers who fell in battle in the Gaza Strip were permitted to be published, and their families were notified.
- Staff Sgt. (res.) Amit Moshe Shahar, 25, from Ramat Yohanan, a soldier in the Yahalam unit, the Corps of Combat Engineers, fell in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
- Captain (res.) Denis Krokhmalov Veksler, 32, from Beersheba, combat engineering officer in the Yahalam unit, the Corps of Combat Engineers, fell in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
- Captain (res.) Ron Efrimi, 26, from Hod Hasharon, combat engineering officer in the Yahalam unit, the Corps of Combat Engineers, fell in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
- Staff Sgt. (res.) Roi Avraham Maimon, 24, from Afula, a combat paramedic in the Yahalam unit, the Corps of Combat Engineers, fell in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
- Maj. (res.) Akiva Yasinskiy, 35, from Ramat Gan, a soldier in the 8173rd Engineer Battalion, Etzioni Brigade (6), fell in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
This morning, the names of four additional fatalities who fell in three different incidents in the Gaza Strip were published:
The fallen: Sergeant Roy Tal (19), from Kfar Yehoshua, a soldier in the 94th Battalion, Kfir Brigade, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Major (res.) David Schwartz (26), from Elazar, a soldier in the 8219th Engineer Battalion, the "Half Fire" Division (551), fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Major (res.) Yakir Hechster (26), from Jerusalem, a soldier in the 8291st Engineer Battalion, the "Half Fire" Division (551), fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Major (res.) Gabriel Blum (27), from Beit Shemesh, a soldier in the 36th Division's divisional engineering team, fell in battle in the central Gaza Strip.
