IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Daniel Hagari announced Thursday evening that the frequency of his statements to the media would be reduced. This follows three months in which his declarations became one of the symbols of war from the horror moments of October 7. From now on, according to his announcement, they will take place every two or three days.
"Since the outbreak of the war, the IDF's guiding value has been full transparency to the public and the world, of verified and relevant information through all media channels and social networks," Hagari said. "We will continue to update you with all the information continuously. Even if I don't make a daily statement from now on, I'll continue to be here every two or three days, updating and answering every question. When necessary, I will report immediately."

Later in his statement, he addressed the Hague judges in English. "These days it is important to mention that we are fighting an extremely just war, a war that the enemy started, an enemy that committed combat crimes. Crimes that the terrorists filmed themselves and many around the world try to ignore. In Gaza, 136 abductees are still being deported without medical treatment."
