Christmas is over and there are a lot of cookies left? Leftovers are used to make a delicious bundt cake – an enjoyable solution for the leftovers.
After the holidays, it's often like this: The Christmas cookies that you baked so lovingly are left. Throwing it away is out of the question, of course. After all, a lot of time and love has been put into every single vanilla crescent and cinnamon star to bake them.
But what to do with the leftover cookies? An obvious option is to eat them just like that. But this gets a bit boring in the long run and at some point even the juiciest gingerbread becomes dry. And after the sixth of January at the latest, i.e. on the holiday of Epiphany, the Christmas season is officially over – at least according to the Catholic Church. And that's the end of cookies, but not other treats. So why not turn the delicious cookies into a fluffy pound cake?
