The preparation of the quick pound cake is simple and quick:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.
  • Beat softened butter together with sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and stir well.
  • Mix flour with baking powder. Finely grind the Christmas cookies in a food processor and add them to the mixing bowl together with the flour mix.
  • Stir with whipped cream until smooth and fold in chopped chocolate.
  • Pour the dough into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake in a preheated oven for about 50 to 60 minutes (test with a chopstick).
  • Allow the cake to cool and turn out of the pan. Serve dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
