The tour operator Thomas Cook, founded in 1841, runs hotels, holiday resorts, airlines and organizes cruises. Of the 105 aircraft in the group, 58 fly for the German holiday plane Condor. Thomas Cook has around 21,000 employees in 16 countries worldwide, of which about 4,500 are employed by Condor in Germany.
