The price of a gram of 21 carat gold in the local market increased one thousand pounds from yesterday's price, affected by the global rise in the price of an ounce, which recorded 1868 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, the 21-carat gram recorded the selling price of 157,000 Syrian pounds and the purchase price of 156,500 Syrian pounds, while the 18-carat gram reached the selling price of 134,571 pounds and the purchase price of 134071 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except in accordance with the bulletin issued by the association and distributed telephone numbers for complaints 2248005 and 0991937718.
