According to data from the Automobile Industry Office of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, the production of various types of cars in the country exceeded 140,000 cars during the period between March 20 and May 20, 2021.
The data published today and reported by the Iranian Fars News Agency indicated that the production of various types of cars witnessed an increase of 11.2 percent compared to the same period last year, in which the number of manufactured cars reached 79,788 cars.
The data indicated that the production of saloon cars increased by 10.5 percent compared to the same period last year, and the production of medium and small buses witnessed an increase in production by 11.2 percent and trucks by 60.5 percent.
