Because he has "no nimble female hands", a company near Nuremberg is said to have rejected a job applicant.

This is why he is now suing the Nuremberg Labor Court for discrimination.

The plaintiff is demanding compensation of 8,000 euros, a court spokesman said on Monday.

If the two sides do not come to an agreement, the process could drag on for months.

According to a report in the "Bild" newspaper, the man had applied to be a mounter for digital printing machines at a company in Altdorf near Nuremberg.

Accordingly, the cancellation came on the same day.

According to the court spokesman, the company boss said on Monday that the formulation was not chosen happily.

You wanted to express that fine fingers are necessary for the job.

In order to settle the legal dispute, she offered to donate a three-digit sum to a charitable organization.

It is rare for a man to complain of discrimination.

The defendant company now has until September to present its arguments in writing.

The rejected applicant must then justify his complaint in writing.

Only then will the negotiations continue and the court will clarify whether there is discrimination or not.

Unless an agreement is reached beforehand.
