Industrial production in Germany fell in March amid supply chains disrupted by Covid-19 and the war in Ukraine, official figures showed on Friday.
The manufacturing sector, the pillar of Europe's leading economy, produced 3.9% less over one month, the previous largest decline dating from the start of the pandemic in April 2020 (-18.1%), and after a slight increase in February, revised to 0.1%.
