The United States tops the list of countries most sensitive to tax evasion in the world and has the worst score recorded so far in the Financial Uncertainty Index.
The British Tax Justice Network said in a statement today, “We estimate that ten thousand billion dollars are located abroad, free from any controls, and owned by wealthy people in the framework of secret settlements,” pointing out that Washington does not adhere to international standards and practices in the field of information exchange with other countries.
The organization noted that the United States has increased the amount of financial services it provides to non-residents.
