The Special Central Committee for the Marketing of Grains decided to send all lists of payment of farmers' dues from the delivered wheat crop to the bank, regardless of any other financial debts owed by the farmers and if there are debts collected by other legal methods.
This came during a meeting of the committee chaired by the Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Dr. Amr Salem, to review the implementation of the procedures for receiving and distributing the current year's grain crop, as well as the results of harvesting and delivering the delivered wheat and quantities and their type.
Minister Salem stressed the exertion of utmost efforts to complete the receipt of the grain season, especially wheat, and to overcome obstacles and provide facilities to farmers, stressing the need to continue the participatory work among all concerned parties in order to complete the marketing process.
The representative of the General Federation of Farmers in the committee, Ahmed Hilal, praised the marketing season for this year and the marketed quantities despite the harsh conditions, stressing that complaints about the marketing of grain for this year are completely non-existent, thanks to the great efforts made to make the season successful.
