Stately and relaxing.

"Since time immemorial, the people of Israel have known how to unite around wars, around hardships and disasters, I want to open my speech with a prayer to God that in the coming years we will learn to unite around the State of Israel, around the continued construction of this magnificent house, around this enormous miracle that consists of our magnificent human mosaic, around The national house that was built with blood sweat and tears, tears of joy and unfortunately also tears of sadness, fulfilling the vision of the prophets of Israel.
I stand here before you, on this day with courage and trembling and holy fear, this day we establish a government that will serve all the citizens of Israel.
The people of Israel are smart and understand that the vile intimidation campaigns of the last few months have no truth in them, but rather irresponsibility and slandering the public in the public, unfortunately there are those who make a living by slandering the public in the public.
We will serve everyone.
With responsibility, and out of a sense of mission to each and every one of you.
Cost of living and economic policy
Today I will enter the Ministry of Finance and we face enormous challenges. When the world's economies are in turmoil, in the days of the post-coronavirus and global crisis, when inflation and the slowdown threaten to shake the world,
we will strive for a responsible and sometimes difficult policy of fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraint, an open market policy of removing barriers and tariffs , a policy that will strive to increase the rate of participation in the country's employment market among all populations, that will increase productivity, and a policy that will not oppress any public, that will see the middle class and know how to be compassionate towards those who really need it,
and will even know how to make it easier for the players who are the catalyst of the economy and the Israeli economy. The storm of the global economy will become, with God's help, an island of stability where the startup nation will continue to shine and develop!
I imposed silence on myself in recent weeks and dedicated my days and nights to learning from former finance ministers, leading CEOs in the economy, in the private and public sectors, in high tech and in industry.
I intend to continue to deepen and learn, and in the coming months to work with my partners on a responsible state budget that is biased toward growth and infrastructure development, and on significant economic reforms that will catapult the State of Israel forward
