The industrialists and producers of sweets in Damascus and its countryside called for securing the needs of the continuation of the work of their facilities, investing their production capacities, securing the fuel material necessary for its work through duly approved outlets at the prevailing price, and activating the export process.
Industrialists called during their committee meeting today in the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside to grant them administrative licensing approvals for their shops within the residential real estate, and not only for sale like bakeries.
Vice President of the Chamber and Head of the Food Sector, Talal Qalaji, confirmed that the Chamber will communicate with all concerned parties to follow up on these demands, overcome obstacles to the work of this industry, provide services and assistance, and provide basic ingredients and production requirements.
The chamber's treasurer, George Daoud, and the vice president of the food sector, Ayman Zabadna, participated in the meeting during which Radwan Daoud was named head of the sweets committee in the chamber.
