Gold prices in the local market rose by 6 thousand pounds per gram of 21 karat today, affected by the global price of an ounce, which rose to about 1823 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 164,000 Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 163500 pounds, while an 18-carat gram selling price was 140,571 pounds and a purchase price of 140071 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints: 09991937718/2248005.
