One person was killed and two others were injured as a result of an armed attack in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi.
The Associated Press quoted Asad Reda, an official at the city's police department, as saying in a statement: "A gunman pretending to be a dental patient opened fire inside a clinic run by Chinese doctors, killing one person and wounding two before escaping."
The source added: The injured were taken to the hospital, and they are in stable condition, while the police started an investigation to find out the circumstances of the accident, as the police confirmed through preliminary investigations that it was a targeted killing, and that work is underway to reveal the identity of the perpetrator.
No one has claimed responsibility for the accident.
