Both hikers missing in the Piedmont mountains were found dead.
In Valle Gesso, in the Cuneo area, the body of a 37-year-old of Argentine origins, who lived in Turin, was recovered from a cliff.
The fire brigade helicopter that recovered the body was sighted.
The hiker who was missing above Balme (Turin) was also found lifeless.
As for the accident in Valle Gesso, the victim probably fell for over 100 meters along a slope characterized by steep slopes and rock jumps.
The Piedmontese Alpine and Speleological Rescue (Sasp) and the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza, who had participated in the research, also intervened on the spot.
In the afternoon the hiker who was missing above Balme was also found dead: the body was in an inaccessible area where, presumably the man fell yesterday, after having lost the path due to fog.
The discovery was carried out by a ground team of the Piedmontese Alpine and Speleological Rescue and the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza.
The Fire Brigade is also on site.
