ANCONA - The Ministry of Economic Development (Mise) has registered the "Brand of Business" of the Consortium for the protection and enhancement of Oliva ascolana del Piceno Dop.
After the approval of the denomination and the recognition of the Consortium by the Ministry of Agricultural Policies, the certification of the Mise is now also arriving, which binds the product to the associated producers.
This was announced by the vice president of the Region Mirco Carloni, councilor for agriculture.
"The recognition protects one of the Marche's products of excellence from possible speculation. It was a measure that has been awaited for years and I thank the promoters of the Consortium for the result achieved - says Carloni - The ascolan olive Dop will become part, by right, of the paths of the taste that we want to create through the announcement reserved for the food districts. Ascolana Dop will be the protagonist of all the agri-food enhancement projects that the Marche Region is building to relaunch the internal areas and defend our interests as producers ".
