Watering wooden skewers, why?
In this recipe, we recommend soaking the wooden skewers before skewering your ingredients.
This is not just a job creation measure, but offers several advantages, which we would like to briefly explain to you now:
Firstly (and most obviously) the wooden skewers do not burn as quickly on the grill.
Grilling over an open fire is definitely more relaxed this way.
Secondly, your grilled food stays juicy longer on the skewer because the water in the skewer evaporates and your meat doesn't dry out.
And last but not least, the delicious grilled ingredients slide more easily from the skewer onto your plate.
You see, it's worth it.
So keep that in mind when preparing these delicious curry skewers.
Bon appetit!

For the skewers:
Cut the turkey into 2.5 cm cubes and mix with the marinade.
Leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
