Fanned by a strong wind, the fire resumed this Saturday in the Arrée mountains, in the center of Finistère.
More than 1,700 hectares of vegetation have burned since July 18 in these fields and this very special moorland which is home to “a biodiversity of very great value”, according to Bretagne Vivante.
At midday, at least four fire starts were observed, in particular in the municipalities of Brennilis and Brasparts, according to the Telegram.

According to Ouest-France, there was a start of fire in the early afternoon, including one at a place called Ploénez, near Coat-Mocun, in Huelgoat, about 24 kilometers from Brasparts.
"The situation is under control", according to the prefecture of Finistère, while the department has been placed on "reinforced drought alert".
Two spectacular fires in Morbihan
Visible from busy beaches this August weekend, a wildfire broke out in the early afternoon in Saint-Philibert, between Carnac and Locmariaquer in Morbihan, according to France 3 Bretagne.
A housing estate of 15 houses, at a place called Kernevest, was evacuated.
A room will be opened to accommodate those concerned.
83 machines and 250 firefighters are on site.
The SDIS56 requested the reinforcement of firefighters from Loire-Atlantique.
