(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 25 - After reaching the lows of May 2013, consumer confidence recovered again in November (from 90.1 to 98.1).
The curve was also reversed by business confidence (from 104.7 to 106.4), down for 4 months.
It is the November estimate by Istat.
Business confidence "is driven by expectations on production in manufacturing, by those on orders in market services and by expectations on retail sales".
Consumers look positively "to opinions on the economic situation of the country followed by expectations on the family economic situation and by opinions on saving (future possibilities) in recovery".
"All component series of the consumer confidence index are improving".

In particular,
the economic climate and the future climate record the most accentuated variations (respectively from 77.6 to 95.2 and from 88.8 to 102.8); the personal climate and the current one increase more containedly (in the order of 94.3 to 99.0 and 91.0 to 94.9).
With reference to businesses, the climate of confidence improves in all sectors (in the manufacturing sector the index goes from 100.7 to 102.5, in services from 96.0 to 98.8 and in the retail trade from 109.0 to 112.2 ) with the exception of constructions where the index decreases from 157.5 to 151.9.
