(ANSA) - ROME, 11 APR - On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the German Beck's brewery, Thursday 30 March 2023: the historic brand of AB InBev launches Autonomous, a limited edition beer with a "futuristic" look, entirely defined and developed by Artificial Intelligence (AI ).
From the recipe, to its logo and packaging, up to the supporting marketing campaign, Beck's Autonomous is one of the first beers entirely created by artificial intelligence.
The brewery thus challenged AI to create its own version of the perfect recipe.
Made from millions of different flavor combinations, the final product is a beer crafted from a mix of water, malt, hops and yeast, plus a fifth secret ingredient - years of experience and human expertise, craftsmanship and creativity, all held together by artificial intelligence.
Beck's will produce only 450 limited edition Autonomous between Germany, Italy and the UK, confirming the pioneering spirit: it was the first beer in Europe to be marketed in green bottles, and among the first six-packs in the category.
Now, experimenting with AI, Beck's has interacted with ChatGPT and Midjourney, to create the recipe, branding and supporting marketing campaign, asking technology to guide all choices.
