Miesbach - The Miesbach police report: On Saturday evening, shortly before 7 p.m., reports were received at the Rosenheim Integrated Control Center about a roof truss fire in Miesbach. The communicator was the district fire inspector himself, who had been informed by phone from an acquaintance, in whose house the whole story was happening.
The fire departments Miesbach and Wies hurried with a total of almost 30 men and several vehicles to a family home on the Grießer in Miesbach. At this point the victims, a mother and her 10-year-old daughter, had already gone to a neighbor.

In the house itself, there was a lot of smoke. The fire brigade managed to quickly find the cause with combined forces and technical equipment and to get the brazier under control.
In the room of the 10-year-olds, a technical device on the mattress probably had a short circuit, which caused it to smoke heavily. Fortunately, a fire could be prevented by the rapid intervention of the rescue workers.
The 48-year-old mother and her daughter were not injured. The heavily burned mattress was removed from the house. In addition, there was soot damage on the wall and the wooden cladding on the ceiling. The total damage can be estimated at around 2000 euros.
