The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus countryside, in cooperation with the competent authorities, seized six thousand kilograms of ration bread material that was pressed for sale to feed grinders.
The Directorate stated in a statement that Sana received a copy of it today that the consumer protection elements in Damascus countryside, in cooperation with the competent authorities, seized a vehicle loaded with 4,700 kilograms of dry bread in the Douma area heading to Al-Shifouniyah town for sale to the feed mills.
The Directorate also indicated in its statement that by searching and investigating the presence of dry bread in the marshes, a quantity of 1300 kilograms of material was seized within one of the marshes used by the owner of the grinder to prepare feed mixtures.
The Directorate pointed out that the necessary food seizures were organized and the violating quantities were seized in addition to closing the crusher with red wax and seizing the seized car and referring the violators to the competent authorities to complete the investigation with them.
