How about eating pizzas, turmeric, or tiramisus?
You can find all of these on "Podimels", one of the most popular Facebook pages in recent years, which has thousands of followers.
Behind the page is the animator Nir Shaharur, who publishes original comic works that combine animals and different foods.
In a conversation with Release he tells how the idea was born and what is his favorite podium dose.
"I have an old internet comics page called 'Cartoon', in one of the posts on the page I drew the idea of the 'Hatzol' - a cat that is combined with eggplant, and looks resentful, according to an idea of my friend Inbar Agmon," says Shaharur.
"The post garnered a lot of likes and shares, and I was quite enthusiastic about it. About a year later, my wife Gal and I sat in a restaurant and came up with funny ideas for more animals in style from reading the menu, like Fitz, Gambleby, Tiramisos and more."
Following that amusing meal, Gal suggested that Nir hold a Facebook competition on the page under the name "Hatzol Nolad", in which he drew four different animals combined with food every day.
Surfers were asked to choose the winning piece.
At the end of the competition, the "Tuesco" came in first place and the crowd favorite was the "deer".
"After the competition I decided to open their own page for Podimels to separate them from my regular comic page, and after 60 animals combined with food I moved on to celebs combined with animals, superheroes combined with foods, and many others that can be seen between the page albums," says Shaharur.
"Today, 'Podimels' has magnets, two booklets, T-shirts and even had a card game that ran out and a new version will be released soon."
And what is your favorite podium?
"I like the 'sprout' the most, both because he's among the first, but also because his pun is successful."
