A 16-year-old girl in Discovery Bay reported that she was raped and police arrested a 17-year-old foreign boy.
Last Saturday (26th), a 16-year-old girl reported to Lantau North Police Station that she had been raped in a unit in Discovery Bay.
The Criminal Investigation Team of the Lantau Police District took over the investigation. After investigation, a 17-year-old foreign male was arrested on suspicion of "rape" in Lantau Mountain yesterday (27th).
The arrested person has been released on bail pending further investigation and must report to the police in early October.
