The burger is probably one of the world's favorite foods, and proof of that can be found in the state of Colorado in the United States, where two branches of the "In-N-Out" hamburger chain opened last week - and people waited in line for them for a full 14 hours.

Of course, the wait did not go unnoticed by customers.

Videos from the opening of one of the new branches showed huge queues of people waiting to buy the restaurant's favorite dishes.

In another, two men were seen arguing with each other as one of them was pushed with his vehicle into the queue and nearly caused an accident.

The argument between the years escalated into a violent brawl, during which one of their pants fell off.

More people joined the brawl, and soon the security personnel at the scene separated the parties.

Despite the violence, none of the buyers were arrested or in need of medical treatment.

The traffic jams and huge queues were so great that the Aurora Police, one of the two lucky cities where a new branch of the chain opened, asked people on its Twitter account not to come to the place.

"It's official, there are huge traffic jams here. Do not come or be patient, please, we run the traffic here," the station's official account read.

Later that day, local police despaired of the situation - and its people decided to have fun on the Twitter account: "Friends, in the city of Aurora there are more food restaurants. Please go eat there, there are 12-hour queues here. We ask the public to recommend drivers more places to eat." .

According to the local newspaper Colorado Springs, even on the day after the opening there were huge queues for the restaurant, with the waiting time dropped to four hours "only".

However, traffic in the entire area, including on the highways, was affected by the huge queues of cars.

The newspaper also reported that people showed up about 90 minutes before the restaurant opened to gain the opportunity to purchase the coveted patty.

The chain itself was stunned by the onslaught of assailants, noting that "we have 10 branches in Colorado, and will open more in the coming years."
