Sometimes in life, the best things are discovered by mistake, on the road or created unintentionally.

However, from the moment they go out into the world air there is no way to turn the wheel back and all we have left is to ask ourselves is "how did we not think of this before?".

This sentence seems to have passed just a week ago a few days ago in the head of Mia Yoffe, a young Tel Aviv confectioner who, intentionally or not, is behind one of the hot culinary trends of the local foodie community recently.

The 26-year-old beauty set up a modest home confectionery in her home about two years ago and thought of cracking a recipe that would be delicious, photograph well and on the way go viral so that it would bring her more recognition and customers.

"I am a confectioner and I also sell designed packages," says Yoffe, who is probably now a feature of "The

Sushi

Queen

Brula"

after she managed last weekend almost without intending to break the chain and make a lot of people drool.

The young confectioner is responsible, as mentioned, for a recipe for sushi made from creme brulee, and you know what it's like to surf social media when they smell a hit.

The likes came, and came in huge.

"It happened right on the road," she says.

"I wandered around a bit on Instagram and saw chocolate sushi. I was debating whether to make it for sale and thought it was too banal because it exists in thousands of confectioneries."

"I just made creme brulee and said to myself 'Mia you have to try this' and immediately checked everywhere that no one had done it. The next day I had already made it, let the family and friends taste it and immediately flew for it."

When Yoffe saw that it was an invention with potential sales, she decided to take the matter a step further and posted it on Instagram and several groups on Facebook, among them the super successful group "Hungry in Your Hunger" which currently has more than 250,000 jaw and palate friends.

The success was almost immediate, with within a few hours the unique sushi garnered thousands of responses and labels.

Many of course wanted to know what the recipe was, but Yoffe as a magician currently keeps the secret close to her heart and is not willing to reveal the formula.

"Not yet," she told us, "but I do plan very soon, when possible, to open workshops and there it is a different world."

Yoffe told us that she had a feeling that the unique sushi had the potential for success, but did not anticipate or expect the hysteria created within hours.

Her phone, she shared, collapsed from conversations of customers and just curious people who wanted to order the new culinary wonder, and she even received an offer to sell it to Sushiya, an offer she refused because she prefers to act as a freelancer at the moment.

Her social networking pages have also swelled (did you see what we did here?) After the publication, and she has since received several dozen membership requests daily.

So what's expected next?

Yoffe says that creativity has always characterized her and that is something she intends to continue to develop.

Aside from the unique cases she designs, she is constantly trying to think of original combinations.

"I have my own cake, for example," she told us.

"It's a combination of pizza and a chocolate chip cookie and it's hysterical. On Hanukkah, I also made croissant donuts with particularly spoiled toppings."

Following the exposure and interest, are we expected to see Yoffe star on screen in some reality show?

In the meantime, she says it is not on the agenda, but she does say that she was in the past in a private workshop of Or Spitz which she said was wonderful and contributed a lot and she makes sure to enrich her knowledge in workshops and professional courses that help her develop.

As for the brulee sushi, Yoffe promises that this is just the beginning and that she plans to upgrade and add flavors, but in the meantime prefers to keep them as a surprise.

In the meantime, if you have a craving for a corrupt bite, you are welcome to click on Yoffe's page and thus also donate yourself karma points in support of a small independent business.

A pack of 12 pieces will cost you NIS 80
